NEW DELHI, July 27 (Xinhua) — At least three people were killed and two others injured Saturday after a four-storey residential building collapsed in India’s western state of Maharashtra, officials said.
The building, which housed 13 residential units and three shops, collapsed in Shahbaz village of Navi Mumbai area, about 21 km east of Mumbai, India’s financial capital.
Following the accident, police and fire department personnel rushed to the scene to carry out rescue work.
