JERUSALEM — A woman was killed and 10 others wounded in a rocket attack on northern Israel on Monday, Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue service said.
The woman was trapped in a building hit in the Arab town of Shfar’am in Galilee and later pronounced dead, it said.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military said in a statement that about 10 rockets crossed into Israel from Lebanon, and Israel’s aerial defense systems attempted to intercept them.
Israel’s state-owned Kan TV news said the rockets were fired by Hezbollah.
