NEW DELHI, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) — Two militants were killed and five government forces personnel, including a senior police official, were wounded Saturday in a fierce gunfight in Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said.

The gunfight broke out in Adigam-Devsar village of Kulgam district, about 79 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Police said the identity of the killed militants was being ascertained.
